MaltoCal19 is an easily soluble glucose-saccharide mixture in powder form from 1 year – also called maltodextrin.

MaltoCal19 is suitable for energy enrichment with carbohydrates in dietetics.

  • dextrose equivalent from 18 to 20
  • low osmotic effect
  • gluten-free, fructose-free, lactose-free, galactose-free, sucrose-free and protein-free
  • free from dietary fibre
  • pure vegetable, vegan
  • strictly low in sodium and electrolytes
  • easily soluble in drinks, puddings, muesli, porridge, pureed dishes, soups and sauces
  • scentless and almost tasteless
  • only slightly sweetening – from 30 g per 100 g of food/drink
  • boil and bake stable
  • Well tolerated, even in high concentrations
  • without thickening effect, i.e. neither volume nor consistency of food and beverages are changed
  • suitable for tube feedings – do not use parenterally
  • in the tin, in the refill bag, in the plastic bucket or in the practical sachets

A diet plan should determine the daily amount of MaltoCal19 taking into account the individual energy needs of the person concerned. Ideally, the daily amount is divided into several individual portions.

MaltoCal19 contains readily available carbohydrates. In case of glucose tolerance disorders, use only under careful metabolic control.
