MaltoCal6 is an easily soluble glucose-saccharide mixture in powder form from 1 year – also called maltodextrin.

MaltoCal6 is suitable for energy fortification with carbohydrates in dietetics.

  • very low osmotic effect

  • free from dietary fibre

  • strictly low in sodium and electrolytes
  • easily soluble in drinks, puddings, muesli, porridge, pureed dishes, soups and sauces
  • scentless and almost tasteless
  • not sweetening
  • boil and bake stable
  • very well tolerated, even in high concentrations
  • thickening or swelling only in very high concentrations, i.e. volume or consistency of food and beverages may change minimally
  • suitable for tube feedings – do not use parenterally
  • packed in a tin

A diet plan should determine the daily amount of MaltoCal6, taking into account the individual’s energy needs. Ideally, the daily amount is divided into several individual servings.

MaltoCal6 contains readily available carbohydrates. In case of glucose tolerance disorders, use only under careful metabolic control.
