XPhe Infant MixLCP is a highly concentrated phenylalanine-free protein supplement in powder form for infants from birth – enriched with vitamins, minerals and trace elements according to age and needs.

Food for Special Medical Purposes (FSMP) for use in the dietary management of Phenylketonuria (PKU) or Hyperphenylalaninemia (HPA).

  • with carbohydrates (mainly lactose) and fat
  • enriched with LCP fatty acids
  • packed in a tin
  • 11 g protein equivalent per 100 g

The daily amount is determined individually and fed to the infant together with a calculated amount of breast milk or infant formula, or low-protein complementary food.

The appropriate dosage is determined by the doctor and is reviewed at regular intervals after a medical check-up. It depends on the infant’s age, weight, protein requirements and individual metabolic situation. A diet plan determines the daily amount of XPhe Infant MixLCP and the other foods, such as breast milk, infant formula or low-protein complementary foods. The daily amount of XPhe Infant MixLCP is divided into 3 – 5 portions and given in the form of a bottle or porridge. The diet requires a needs-based intake of energy, natural protein and other nutrients.

Must only be used under medical supervision. Not for use as a sole source of nutrition. For enteral use only. Only for infants with phenylketonuria (PKU) or hyperphenylalaninemia (HPA).
