Phenylalanine is highly concentrated L-phenylalanine in powder form.

Food for special medical purposes (FSMP) for the dietary management of rare inborn errors of metabolism, e.g. tyrosinemia, alkaptonuria or FARS2 defect, if supplementation with L-phenylalanine is required.

The daily dose depends on age, body weight and the individual metabolic situation and, like the time of intake, is determined under medical supervision. The powder should be taken with other foods and, if necessary, in addition to the usual amino acid/protein supplement. Phenylalanine can be combined well with ZeroTP products.

Must only be used under medical supervision. Not for use as a sole source of nutrition. For enteral use only. Only for people with rare inborn errors of metabolism, e.g. tyrosinemia, alkaptonuria or FARS2 defect. Suitable from birth onwards.
