Food for special medical purposes (balanced diet) for the dietary management of rare inborn errors of metabolism, e.g. mitochondrial aspartyl-trNA synthetase deficiency (DARS2 deficiency, LBSL), if supplementation with L-aspartic acid is required.

The daily dose depends on age, body weight and the individual metabolic situation and, like the time of intake, is determined under medical supervision. 

Must only be used under medical supervision. Not for use as a sole source of nutrition. For enteral use only. Only for people with rare congenital metabolic disorders, e.g. DARS2 deficiency, LBSL. Not suitable for infants in the first year of life.
