Phenylalanin minis are highly concentrated, pressed and coated L-phenylalanine in tablet form.

Food for Special Medical Purposes (FSMP) for use in the dietary management of rare inborn errors of metabolism, e.g. tyrosinemia, alkaptonuria or FARS2 defect, if supplementation with L-phenylalanine is required.

  • Phenylalanin50 minis with 50 mg (0.3 mmol) L-phenylalanine per tablet – 100 g tin of 500 tablets
  • Phenylalanin250 minis with 250 mg (1.5 mmol) L-phenylalanine per tablet – 125 g tin of 200 tablets
  • Caution: Phenylalanin minis must not be confused with XPhe minis

The daily dose depends on age, body weight and the individual metabolic situation and, like the time of
intake, is determined under medical supervision. The tablets should be taken with other foods and, if necessary, in addition to the usual amino acid/protein supplement. Phenylalanin minis can be combined well with ZeroTP products.

Must only be used under medical supervision. Not for use as a sole source of nutrition. For enteral use only. Only for people with rare congenital metabolic disorders, e.g. tyrosinemia, alkaptonuria or FARS2 defect. Not suitable for infants in the first year of life.
