For a supplementary intake of dietary fiber, 10 - 20 g per day is recommended. 5 - 10 g BallastoMaxx can be stirred into 150 - 200 ml beverage or 150 - 200 g food. For every 100 g of flour or low-protein or gluten-free baking mix, 10 g of flour can be replaced by 10 g of BallastoMaxx. Due to the swelling effect, it may be necessary to add an additional 10 - 20 ml of liquid per 10 g of BallastoMaxx. Depending on acceptance and individual tolerance, BallastoMaxx can also be dosed higher.

When using BallastoMaxx or a high-fiber diet, sufficient fluid intake should be ensured. The general recommendation for adults is about 2 liters per day.
