Food for Special Medical Purposes (FSMP) for use in the dietary management of rare congenital metabolic disorders, e.g. tyrosinemia, alkaptonuria or FARS2 defect, if supplementation with L-phenylalanine is required.

The daily dose depends on age, body weight and the individual metabolic situation and, like the time of intake, is determined under medical supervision. The powder should be taken with other foods and, if necessary, in addition to the usual amino acid/protein supplement. Phenylalanin can be combined well with ZeroTP products.
